Keeping Your Messaging Up-to-date

If your organization offers tours, or if your staff provides commentary as part of their duties, when is the last time you updated your scripts?

With increased attention on gender parity, LGBTQ rights, Indigenous representation and reconciliation, environmental responsibility, and even advances in social media, are your words reflecting the reality of life in 2019 and beyond?

Ottawa Tourism will host an interactive member session to address this very issue on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 from 9:30 to 11:30am at the Ottawa Conference and Event Centre, 200 Coventry Road.

Led by our moderator, Jantine Van Kregten, Ottawa Tourism's Director of Communications, join our panelists:

  • Mischa Kaplan, Ottawa Tourism's Manager of People & Corporate Culture;
  • Christian Garceau, Capital Pride Festival Director;
  • Christina Ruddy, Operations Manager at Omamiwinini Pimadjwowin - The Algonquin Way Cultural Centre; and
  • Brad Campeau, Owner of Brew Donkey

for an interactive discussion and and take away some tips for refreshing your scripts and creating a stronger experience for your customers.
